What is HORCARATE?
HORCARATE is a service that helps businesses collect customer feedback and resolve service issues. This policy explains what information we collect through the feedback form and how we use it. HORCARATE is operated by Emine Günaydın – Horcarate Misafir Deneyim Sistemleri, a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye.
Our role
We provide the feedback form and dashboard on behalf of the business you are giving feedback to. That business decides how your feedback is used. We process the information only to provide the service to that business.
Information we collect
Your ratings, the topics you selected and your comment; optionally, a room, table or other reference number, the area you are in, and photos; optionally, an email address used only to follow up on your report; and, to prevent misuse, a device identifier and a one-way hash of your IP address. The form does not ask for your name or phone number. It does not ask for sensitive information such as health information; please do not include this type of information in your comment.
How we use it
To forward your feedback to the business, alert the business's managers instantly when a score is low, follow up with you by email if you provided an address (including sending a service recovery code), analyze comments with AI to provide reports to the business, and detect fake submissions.
Who we share it with
Only with the business you gave feedback to and with the service providers we use to run the service: hosting, database, email, instant notifications and AI analysis. These providers may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Instant notifications are sent only to the business's managers; we do not message you other than by email. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising purposes.
How long we keep it
Feedback and photos are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted automatically. The email address you provide is deleted automatically 6 months after the form is submitted.
Information stored in your browser
The form stores a random identifier in your browser to recognize repeated submissions from the same device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, see our Data Deletion Request page or contact us.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
